Seems most of the posts here these days are CV reviews and general grievances about work, there used to be more roles advertised by members.

From a selfish perspective I'm looking for a new challenge, but also was great to see posted vacancies filled by fellow PHers.

Well if you:

1) have an engineering degree
2) have minimum 10 years experience working oil & gas
3) have minimum 8 years experience as a project manager/engineer on major projects for an EPC contractor
4) are under 60
5) willing to work in the Gulf

yes I have positions. I can't find the right people for love nor money.

I think I've posted a few jobs over the last few years whilst being with 2 or 3 different employers. On the forum, good response is low, relevant enquiries even lower. Having said that I think I hired 2 or 3 young no/inexperienced engineers into their first real roles through here and I know they are all doing well elsewhere now.

Edit - now I'm in telecoms and always have jobs to fill, mostly outside the UK. I don't post here as the return rate vs time invested doesn't stack up.

I'm looking for an ex pat ICT Manager position, 16 years very varied experience including Africa, Asia and the Middle East.
Initially went to Africa in '07 thanks to a position advertised by a member on here, so it can happen.

If you're a CDP/Junior sous chef with 3 or 4 years experience. Passionate about being a chef and not just doing it because you're too thick to do anything else. Like, live and breath the role of a chef and want to learn and progress and excel. If you have your own transport and not need live-in then we have a position in South Bucks.
