If you're a CDP/Junior sous chef with 3 or 4 years experience. Passionate about being a chef and not just doing it because you're too thick to do anything else. Like, live and breath the role of a chef and want to learn and progress and excel. If you have your own transport and not need live-in then we have a position in South Bucks.
Entirely off-topic but I hope things are going well there. Did you ever read the novel?Pete102 said:

I'm in a very similar position, crossing engineering degree with mostly IT and engineering/manufacturing systems job history. Just not that many well paying options out there at the moment. As you can't really search by specific job titles I have a generic search running on indeed.co.uk with my search for any new job within 25 miles of Dundee and another for 25 miles from Aberdeen. If I have a quick look every 24 hrs I just have to browse the 30 or so new jobs every day for each area and it covers most of the area I'd commute to but just not many opportunities in the Angus area for me. My career coach also suggested Workcircle.co.uk which is quite good for searching but you need to have key words.
I started diversifying applications to project management, lean manufacturing manager, change manager and systems analyst type roles as some of my more specific skills aren't really in demand. Not much in Engineering Systems, Data management or ERP systems deployment. Couple of interviews but slow going and lots of applicants (especially closer to Aberdeen).
Have a look through some of the jobs you might want and see what qualification they are looking for, some of the project management qualifications like prince 2 or maybe a green belt in lean six sigma etc. are quite quick qualifications you could fund yourself for a few hundred pounds. Hard to move sectors without starting further down the seniority rank to prove you have the skills.
I'm after a mid-level SQL Server DBA with a few years' experience, working in the automotive industry for a fleet management company. Portsmouth-based, just off the M27. Good company benefits, pension, healthcare, bonus scheme etc. Must have some SSIS, SSAS experience, SQL scripting, replication and database tuning.

Would consider anything to get the 'right person'. Currently a small team, wanting to expand a little over the next 6-12 months to offer a fuller service and get rid of the need for freelance resources.Check our site (in my profile) and drop me a message if interested.
