Fellow PH'ers,

I need your help, I have always worked in retail management apart from a few years driving buses. I would love to work with cars or something related to cars as I'm really passionate about it. I'm definitely not a sales man so what would you suggest?

Thanks for any help.

laugh

Something I've spotted recently (others have probably cottoned on much earlier); with the rise in leasing of cars, they all need delivering and collecting. Couple of folk in it that I've spoken to recently talk of struggling to keep up with demand.

OP thanks for the link. Unfortunately I can't go the self employed route as we are looking at moving soon.

Pirelli Motorsport want fitters in Didcot

Involves a lot of international travel, perhaps not ideal if you have a family, but no experience needed, sounds cool

An agency called Anderson Gothard are dealing with it, they're an agency for Motorsport jobs and they're based in Silverstone, they get some interesting work in.

OP thanks I have bookmarked Anderson Gothard so I can keep checking back. I couldn't see the filters vacancy just an experienced track side engineer on the Pirelli website.

All I can say is my 6 years in the motor industry, the last bit of that in a main dealer as a service advisor almost put me off cars.

Don't work in a main dealer.
