IT Contractor going back permy... anyone done the same?
Discussion
I'm currently paying Brookson more than that to shut down my company having gone back to perm from freelance. More fool me for using them, I guess, although they've done a good job for me over the last few years. Not cheap.
Anyway, sounds like a bargain to me from where I'm sitting. And yes, your first payslip might make you weep a bit.

Seems cheap to me to get it all closed down cleanly. How much would it cost for you to do it yourself?
I assume the reference to less than 25k is because that's your situation; if you had more and went down the MVL route it would be more like 2 grand with SJD (or anyone else, probably).

I've gone down the "close the company" route.
Though my accountant did say they would charge me a full months accountancy for working the first two days in December (my scheduled last days at current job). Squeezing every penny out of me for sure!
I think those days will go down as November overtime..
