Firefighter recruitment....help please

Bit of a thread revival rather than start a new one.. How did you guys get on?

My local fire service are recruiting in March, with an open day on 2nd Feb which I'll be attending.

I've previously completed basic and advanced fire fighting courses under the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, as I'm currently a deck officer in the merchant navy.
