I know I'm not the OP, but I looked into it around the same time. It was a back up plan. That’s not how PH works : do tell why not?
Main reason for me not going any further at the moment is the cost of training.
£81 for the theory test
£111 for a driving test
£111 for part three
As someone has said, parts one (theory) and two (driving test) can be self taught. Part three ideally needs coaching. £40 a hour and around 30-40 hours needed.
I can't afford it at the moment. And I'm not sure if I want to take the risk of going self employed at the moment (hoping to get a mortgage in the next year or two).
I might look at doing it again in the future. My new job will see me working until 60 odd...which I'm not sure I'd want to do for another 30 plus years.
