1M - Is it the 'new' M3. Discuss!
Discussion
Hi there, I got my 1m on the 14th may and my dealer also thought it cost 1000 forte service pack. However I told him otherwise and also pointed him to the web links and forum chat. He called BMW and they updated him. Apparently it's well hidden in a comms they got. So I paid 400 as did all their other customers. This is the cooper group dealer in Essex. I'd call BMW and clarify, then have them call your dealer as they have it wrong and there is no excuse to charge you the wrong amount. Also add I got the paperwork through so all is good.
Thanks a lot for the feedback, much appreciated. Trust you're enjoying the 1M, can't wait to get mine!

I've seen on a couple of thread's that a few people have a £400 deal for service inclusive for the 1M Coupe. I have bought a new car from the main dealer in Bournemouth (car due to arrive mid August) and they are quoting £1,000 for service inclusive so I sent them the link somebody had put on here for the £400 deal but they will not match that!! If any 1M owners on the site have got the £400 deal would you mind letting me know which dealership you got that price through? Just trying to see if a few dealers have been offering the £400 deal?
Also has anybody managed to get below 8% APR BMW finance for the 1M? Because it's a limited run car, the dealer said they have their hands tied by BMW UK and they can't go much below 8% APR. It's a £45k car all in with no discount - shame there is no give on the APR rate or service inclusive deal considering no discount on the new price and it's my second new car from the same dealer (not feeling the love!) but I guess they can sell all the production, hence no deals. Again, any feeback would be much appreciated....
Can you please clarify this for me? Is the 8% APR that you are being offered on a PCP deal? Also has anybody managed to get below 8% APR BMW finance for the 1M? Hi, yes it's a PCP contract over 3 or 4 years with a final purchase balloon payment, but happy to go with hire purchase or standard repayment, whatever gives the best APR rate. Mileage will be no more than 5,000 pa so that shouldn't be an issue (use my 500 Abarth to rack up miles). I guess anything below the range of 5-6% APR starts to become a subsidised rate (sounds mad with BOE base rate at 0.5%), but something in the region of 6-7% APR seems okay. A personal loan rate would be circa 7% so with the security of a big deposit I would expect rate to be lower than that in theory.

Couldn't get any dealer to go below 8.6% APR with BMW FS so I went with Yorkshire Bank Asset Finance.
4.2%, 6.5% APR over 4 years with 10k miles p.a.
Initially paid dealer £1k for service inclusive however they have also confirmed it's £400 as I told them all along and they are refunding me the £600 difference.
Mark.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated. Hopefully I can get the service inclusive price sorted with Woods. Your APR rate sounds good, I will give Yorkshire Bank Asset Finance a try and then see if I can get any joy out of BMW finance nearer the time of delivery in August.

Just got the following official response from BMW UK regarding service inclusive pricing for the 1M Coupe....
"I can confirm that, if you purchase the Service Inclusive pack for the above vehicle and within 60 days of the vehicle being registered on our systems, this would cost £400. However, should this pack be purchased after the 60 days time limit, then the price will increase to £1000"
