The only options really were:
Logic 7 Speaker Upgrade TV / DVD USB / Ipod M-Multifunction Seats Heated Front and Rear Seats Alcantara Head Lining Privacy Glass Full Leather rather than Extended 167 Wheels rather than 166's
The rest i believe pretty much comes as standard. Auto-Tailgate was standard on all M5's i think but the Auto Load Cover might have been an option. In comparison to the E60 the E61 came with more off the shelf.

Picked her up yesterday and had the full day in her today, what a machine! I missed the M6 and I'm glad I'm back in the touring. It's just Epic.

Eddie I have the Electric tailgate button on the touring. Was this standard? And the pana roof (this was standard) other than that how do I tell if it has the logic upgrade? I have an Aux socket in the rear centre console but not found a USB slot in the centre console yet. Full leather is there for sure. What are the 167 wheels. I have the privacy glass as the missus moaned when I got the car home saying it was a pimp mobile I can't win!!!

Cant remember what heading it comes under but it is in there. Either that or count the speakers. The electric tailgate was standard on the M5 Tourers. There is a USB port (if you have one spec'd) in the lower compartment of the centre arm rest. Thats all you should have other than a 6 cd changer in the glove box (unless youve got aftermarket fittings). Its built into the front bulkhead of the compartment in a really obscure place. Just feel around for it. 167 wheels are the M6 style ones. Glad you like it mate. Just get those hideous badges off! lol

Maybe it is straight then. Might just the be jct9 sticker that making it look odd. If it looks ok where you are then thats probably the case.

thanks You mean 'hill hold'? You get 2 seconds of braked front wheels after you release the foot pedal so you dont roll back. The recognition thing is i think, when on a hill in D mode it should revert to 1st gear rather than 2nd like it would on the flat. Supposed to save the clutch.

Jeez is it two seconds? Tried it today felt like it held for a split second and then rolled back. Takes some getting used to then and the handbrake really is a must.

It doesn't work in N remember. There shouldn't really be any need for the hand brake so long as you are on the power within 2 seconds. Works in reverse also. Eddie

Yes of course not in N, I hit my fathers drive (very steep) and tried to get as close to his bumper but I kept dropping down and had to use the handbrake, I can see this take some getting used to.
Is yours a pig in the morning (cold start) when going into reverse? Proper jerky and kangaroo juice.

The throttle can be a bit lumpy for the first hundred or so meters but all M5's suffer this when cold. Something to do with the Vanos ive been told.

Well must be a charachteristic of mine then as it's almost undriveable in reverse in the morning on cold start. I never leave a car idling as it does more damage to the engine and most of these performance cars were designed to be driven as soon as fired up.
