Well, being on eBay I really didn't think it would pass 60k - it just proves what the fk do I know rolleyes. Good luck to the seller, hope it passes the reserve.

Don't get me wrong, a sub 20K mile Bobby R would be worth a lot but there was this thing called a Johnny Cecotto Edition which was the same as the Booby R but it was for the European market and the Bobby R was for the UK only.

There were 480 Cecco's available in Misano Red, Nogaro Silver and Macao Blue and 25 Booby R's all in Macao. These cars were basically catalysed Evo II's with added equipment.

The Evo III is the final homologation of the model it's the model all the collector/'investors' want.

Yep, and that's the important part when it comes to pricing.

It really strikes me that a boggo or limited edition 2.3 is real, real value compared to what Sport Evolutions are making. Also a 2.3 is far more drivable - less concerns & worries with a 20k car as opposed to a low miler 60k+ machine. A 2.3 all day long for me.

Wasn't there a recent thread on here talking bout £50k/£60k for good later cars?!..I thought that was strong, but I guess this one has superb spec and the right colour. Interesting to. See how far it goes..over 100k?! Great as they are I would be looking at a similar condition 993 Turbo S for this kinda wedge. Doubt whoever wins it will drive it much. Just wait a few years for another market rise and punt it on again
