Sytner Sunningdale. They are not only a BMW service centre and Official BMW Body Shop, but they also are authorised to repair Rolls Royce. When I had my E46 in for some touch up they had a RR shipped in from Switzerland for repair work, as the owner had been advised they were one of the best. Gareth Bilson is your man there.

Munich Legends did my CS front bumper/wing repair and re-spray.

Very happy with the quality of repair and paint finish, faultless.

Have heard good things about KDS mentioned above but no personal experience.
I'd use Impact Bodywork based next to Bluebell Railway. Sam is the guy to speak to. I'm pretty sure they do a lot of Munich Legend's spray work for them.

if i was wanting to use a bodyshop to get some work done then KDS would get a look in for sure.

Cars being painted by anal detailing folk has to be a winner - i mean that with the greatest respect btw! It is a good thing!

Bodytechnics in Slough. They do BMW, Ferrari, Porsche and Maclaren and can personally recommend them
Also heard good things about them so I used them for a quote. They wanted nearly £900 to repair a small bumper scuff. That was 1/3 more than Aston wanted to charge and not far off 5 times more than my local (very good) body repair place.

Got my car back from Gary at Ital Coachworks today, they did a great job. Very reasonable and helpful, he'll he even persuaded me not to spend money and take a cheaper and more effective treatment! Pain in the arse to get to Wembley during the Olympics but worth a visit.

I'm in London and make my way a little north to Hitchin

Some of Lee's work has been seen at a number of Sunday Services including his own persoanal builds, top bloke and total car enthusiast who has rebuilt some classics over the years. I don't go anywhere else for all my work which none has been for actual smash and crash repairs : )

Just picked my 645ci up from http://www.excelcarbodyrepair.co.uk/ in Reading after a bonnet respray. Extremely happy with the work. Good guys who really know their trade plus they have some very interesting metal in there usually.

another big +1 for Ital Coachworks. I've been using Gary and co for over 4 years now for a couple of resprays to a full collision repair a couple of years ago, they are all ex BMW/Audi guys and do a staggeringly good job. Was trading in wife's Z4 a few years ago and some muppet caught the car and put a nasty gash in the front. Gary got it sorted in record time and dealer was none the wiser! Pricing very competitive, service outstanding.

I used Tony Fowkes Auto's in NW10. They were excellent in every respect.

I've used Chappell Coachworks - near brands hatch and the quality of the paint was very good on my old astra sport-hatch....also the cooper BMW Tunbridge garage repaired my 335i rather well earlier this year after somebody decided to drive into the side of it!!!
Thanks for the tip. Finally got my CSL repaired at Chappell's. Much cheaper than other quotes and a reasonable repair, so I'm happy.

If you want a genuinely perfect paint finish, not just good and cheap, Fullbridge restorations in Maldon, Essex is the place to go. I've never seen paintwork as good as this anywhere.

Ital Coachworks in Wembley are very good http://www.ital-coachworks.co.uk/ital-pages/Home

They do a lot of work for main dealers....I know the sales department at BMW Park Lane use them rather than their own bodsyshop.

Not the most impressive premises but they do a lot of work on Porsche,BMW,Merc etc etc

Ask for Gary....he runs it. His prices are very competitive in my experience.

He's one of those people that makes the world go round.........
Why do the Sales department of BMW Park Lane use them ?
As far as I am aware they do not have their own bodyshop at Battersea or Nine Elms though I may be wrong ?

For smart repairs, BMW park lane use a body shop in the neighbouring industrial estate.

For larger repairs, they must be shipped out somewhere as I haven't ever seen evidence of a body shop at Stewarts road.

I think Ital are cheaper than the charge out rate that the Sales Department would get charged by the internal Service/Bodyshop Dept. I have seen cars their with the BMW Approved Used Number Plate you would see in a showroom.

Warren Coachworks Bexleyheath.

They look after all of my cars thay do what they call a Paint Refresh which is a two day process of taking all the imperfections out of the paint & they also do the best matching of colours I've seen yet & now do the 3M.
