Phooey said: Hi mate, are you enjoying the Scud?
re the M3 - i drove a DCT and found it ok but it didn't blow my socks off like i thought it would. Go drive a C63 coupe - speak to James Smith (07751 866763) at Derby Mercedes and AMG dealership, Pride park, Derby The Scuderia is an absolute weapon a very focused car, and I love it, however the weather being how it is at the minute I'm not getting out in it much! Test drove the M3 today and it sold itself, I did consider the C63 but I really don't like the Mercedes look, SLS and Mclaren apart, so was never really an option for me. The BMW feels much slower than the GT-R more so than I thought it would if I'm being honest but I know part of this is due to the NA engine and how it delivers it's power. On the upside, beautifully made, proper back seats, lovely and quiet, fantastic gearbox, superb ride simply absorbs what our crappy roads have to throw at it, nice noise when provoked, looks great, 3 years servicing thrown in and it's a V8! I collect the car next Friday

Nice. Now go and order the MPerformance exhaust! Gives the V8 a nice growl.

I found it to be a car that just gets better the more you drive it though so just make sure you get a good long test drive and don't write it off after 20 mins in 30/40mph zones!. I feel the Sport button (throttle map) really makes a difference to how the car feels. Completely agree.

Can't remember how much I paid, was around £2.5k I think. It's not too loud for everyday driving but comes alive in the higher rev range. Keeps your warranty fully intact as well. Enjoy the car tomorrow and post some pictures up!

Enjoy the car tomorrow and post some pictures up! Oh £2.5K might delay that purchase, I think that might push the wife over the edge!

Nice purchase mate would be a good everyday car I would be very wary about security though - would recommend get a proper Tracker fitted.

Only part not covered by BMW would be the aftermarket exhaust.
