Hi All
My first post here but thought I might add to the forum as I have found itninteresting.
I take delivery of my X6 M50d this saturday.Ordered this car on the 10th feb so a very long wait! but hopefully worth it.
Fully loaded but not comfort access.Carbon Black with Oyster/black interior. This was the first M50d the dealer has seen .not much sleep until then!!

Look forward to it!

I'll double check in the morning but I think it has a fairly high spec with many of the options in the price list ticked.

Nice looking car that has been tastefully specced.....just do me a favour and debadge it as the badging is more Dagenham than Munich.

Apologies if i am the only one that thinks this?

I must admit I have thought about d- badging X6 and leaving M50d but not sure if I will ......I know it's a personal preference thing but what does everyone think?

There's a very long thread about people like you!!

But seriously it's a tough call. You have paid a st load of money to have that M badge on the car and it is an M50d so I think you're within your rights to do that if you want!

It's like a well known quandary the fairer sex has....the choice is all off, give it a nice trim or leave it as it is......and we all know they wrong answer is leaving it as it is wink The other two will both have their fans...

Luke.

Those badges are a bloody mess. At least get rid of the X6.

I think it's a bit cluttered badge wise BUT it's not pretending to be something it isn't which is the increasingly common sight. And as has been mentioned you've paid a lot for that badge!

Sadly I,ve seen 2 pretend m5's in the last few weeks - why do people do it when the car is so obviously not an M? If the owner of the black 'm5' parked outside the hotel at Fistral beach last week is on pistonheads perhaps they can explain??
