Chris,

These are great old cars if maintained well. Like anything I suppose!?

Like the rest I suggest keeping the throwing stars, mine were refurbed by Lepsons and they came out like new.

Also get yourself onto the M5board as there are many keen owners and lots of help and advice on there.

here's my 93 car, looks the same colour as yours??

Happy motoring,

Cheers,

Steve

Thanks guys, they are lovely old things.

I've had mine a fair few years now and spent much more than its worth keeping it running and looking good.

Hopefully in years to come, like the e30's these old hand built M cars will start to appreciate in value.

Time will tell,

Cheers

stunning car, (as is bellairs)
i think your right steve, at a certain point the 34 m5 will go through the roof, when people realise how good, and rare they are, only hope its not for another a year or two, just so i can get another smile
i'd rather get one before they go through the roof smile

Hi everyone, Ive just come across a e34 M5, ive wanted one pretty much all my adult life so snapped it up when I got the chance.

Im in need of a new speedo cluster or can the dials be changed from the back and are they available? They seem to have got damp inside and all the numbers etc are spliting.

Thank you in advance and here are some pics of the car

Chris Griffiths
im glad to see your restoring one of the best of the last handbuilt bavarian beautys to come out of garching, one day these cars will get there recognition..

is this the last of the run, was it the "L.E" or something? 1 of 50 i think, could be wrong.

Of those, only 15 were the Rosso Red and Champagne interior, the other 35 Orinico Green with Mint interior.

Any updates from the OP since purchase, or has the seemingly inevitable E34 M5 induced bankruptcy claimed another victim?

Welcome new poster, please update as you go along. smile

I own the car in the photos in the original post and have done since 2001, I only loaned it to Chris Griffiths a couple of years ago until he ripped me off and I asked for it back shortly afterwards. But that's another story! When I get round to restoring it I'll post the story up...

Cheers,
Bryn
