What is that underneath the off side rear lamp unit?
Looks like an LPG filling cap but I hope I'm wrong!
No, you're right, it is. frown
That is what I thought it was................
You have to wonder about some of the previous owners, judging by the LPG conversion and the 'personalisation' of the number plates.

Like the rest I suggest keeping the throwing stars, mine were refurbed by Lepsons and they came out like new.

Also get yourself onto the M5board as there are many keen owners and lots of help and advice on there.

here's my 93 car, looks the same colour as yours??

Happy motoring,

Cheers,

Steve
Ouch .....

After personally rubbing down these magnesium Throwing Star covers by hand and having our bodyshop spray them it hurts to see Lepsons taking all of the credit .....

Ouch ....

I picked this m5 up a few weeks ago as a breaker but turns out its something special so decided to save it now.

Turns out its the only m5 painted in Furano green and the last 3.6 rhd to be built, interior is something special with full extended Connolly leather / green dash and door card tops smile

Engine has already been removed and sent of to be rebuilt smile
I'm very happy to hear that this rare beauty has been saved .

Who is carrying out your engine rebuild and to what spec ?

Let me know if you need any odd bits to get her back to scratch .
