Has anybody set up their IPhone 5 + lightning adapter and got it to work fully with ALL functions with the Intravee II system ? I have read some seller comments on eBay suggesting normal iPod functions may be limited but Apple make conflicting comments. I know the genuine Apple ones have a smart chip, allowing them to work fully with part analogue signals as well as digital, so they may be better/different to the cheap knockoffs on sale. I'm still waiting for two genuine iphone 5 lightning adapters on back order

This was something I'm interested to know too. For now, I've dug up an old iPod Touch and use that for all my audio.

I was told by a manager of an Apple store today that they have these adapters in stock at HQ but not in store just yet. I placed an online order today with fast shipping. Fingers crossed it comes soon and works properly. The Intravee II system works well. It would really annoy if there is any loss of function with the new Iphone 5.

Otherwise get a cheap Ipod to live permanently in the car - I assume your Intravee is mounted in the boot?

Lives permanently in the boot apart from when I want to refresh the tunes. You can use calendar reminders to stop it ever going to "deep sleep".

Nah, I have the long cable run under the carpet, so it comes into the central tray (hidden of course when cable is disconnected from phone, so prying eyes can't see) this normally plugs into my Iphone giving full comms functionality. Sat Nav, music, phone, charging etc. It's superb. My only worry is comments from some Apple user posts indicating there may be loss of function with the Iphone 5 using the new lightning adapter with the old connectors. http://money.cnn.com/2012/09/13/technology/apple-l...I'm wondering if other cars will have a similar issue, when these adapters become widely available and in use.

Update. I got the lightning adapter today and everything works perfectly, even with the phone charger adapter sandwiched in the middle. Apple have these adapters in stock online now so be quick if you need one.
