Quick update, my CVL order was due end of this month, dropped them an email today to ask for an update and apparently it's already at the dealer (Knights Stoke!) and they'll be offering me a delivery slot tomorrow!

Anyone with CVL outstanding might be worth an email. Base spec 3 door manual, ordered at the start of Jan.
I ordered mine in Dec and have had an update today to reiterate the date I was told already (w/c 28th april) same spec as you. Wonder if mine is there already..
That's odd! I've been promised a delivery date today, lets see if it happens.

Delivery for mine has slipped back a bit again, now due at the dealership during w/c 5th May.

Although I can't complain too much, I've only put £30 of diesel in the 320d and have claimed over £300 in mileage. Cheapest car I've ever run... wink

First post here, hi!

I saw Sytner advertising this M135i PCP deal: http://www.sytner.co.uk/new-cars/new-car-offers/q2...

I realise that this is the manual version and doesn't have the ZF 8-speed that is so highly regarded, but I'm sure you can arrange to have it added and then flesh out the finance agreement accordingly.

With the dealer contribution at 5k it means we have under £30k payable on the OTR price of £31.3k.

Wondered what you all make of the deal?

The problem with asking in this thread is that most of us are driving new M135i's for the next 2 years for the total sum of £7500, which in theory will beat depreciation.

This makes most other deals look expensive, however reasonable.

That's the best offer i've seen from a dealer. £3k was the biggest deposit contribution i could get out of the dealers that i tried.

My lease deal was about £2600 deposit and £290 p/m, so you're not far off that there, though mine was around £34k list i think with the options (paint, business media, sun pack, comfort pack, etc), plus 10k miles pa (that finance deal is 8k pa).

You're going to be in a similar position with that deal compared to leasing in terms of having no equity in the car for 2 years, but once past that on PCP you're probably going to have a little equity building until the end of the 4 yrs when you might have a couple of grand. Final value of just under £13k is pretty good - on a base spec car i've seen final values as low as £11k on PCP deals.

If i'd missed out on the lease deal i might have been tempted by that.

I was easily able to get £4k contribution from more than one dealer a couple of months back. £5k is very good though. You'll end up at around £350pm with a dribble of spec which is still fantastic.

No idea if I got a good deal or not...

white 5 door
auto
tints
comfort pack
parking sensors
think leather's standard?

£400 deposit and £399 per month for 4 years on a pcp. GFV £12500.

I'll probably change it after 2 years if the figures add up.

Mine feels different today haha. Been keeping it in manual mode for the past few days just to keep it out of the crawler mode that comfort would give around town.

Changing from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 at around 4000 revs, before the dumb valve noise but its like a thumb noise and i fly back in to my seat. Like a real dull pop noise its hard to explain.

Ticked over the 1,200 mark on the way back to London from Wakefield last night.
I did try and vay the revs throughout the running in period but it never lacked performance. However, enjoying going a bit harder on the throttle and using the manual more now.

Managed about 27MPG since new and into the 30s on the trip 250 mile trip yesterday - which included some fun after the 1,200 mile mark. So quite happy with that.

Finding eco mode quite funny, putting my foot down and getting all the response of a 950cc rental Astra. It's sounding better too, torn between having the cracking stereo on loud (HK upgrade) or listening to the engine.

Only problem I can see is I had a 15,000 p/a contract.... I've done 1,200 in 2 weeks eek

When do they take the payments?

I had mine delivered on 21st March and the £1800 deposit only went out today, which i suspect is actually for Monday 21st but with bank holiday etc...

When will actual monthly payments go out?

Eek on the mileage, for sure. Will have to buy a shed, too.....

I find eco mode mildly dangerous at junctions - I'm not one for pulling out closely in front of people, but the laggy response of eco still takes me by surprise..... Mind you, SHMBO finds it useful (and funny) for telling me to slow down, by switching into it as we're beetling along.....
