Mine is now on 16000 miles and due to go back in March. Last week I had it serviced for £170 as I figured I would have to do its eventually, and it had a rattle.
The last week or so I seem to have started bonding with it again. I think with the crap weather the heated leather, auto, HK and nav are what make it a nice experience. To be fair a 320d would accomplish that too. It is fun booting it in this weather though on almost worn MPSS.

Anyone finding any good M135i deals now?
Try here as a start point...http://www.coast2coastcars.co.uk/car-quote/?manufa...
Ours went back this morning...blub....sniff
3 months early due to us hitting our mileage "limit" (yes i know the ppm is cheap), and it being due a service in Jan.
I'm sad to see it go though.
Not long after getting it we found out my wife was pregnant with our 2nd child. So when he was born and needed a rear-facing seat we stopped using the M135i as it's too much of a squeeze.
So in the meantime we bought a CRV for family duties, and then more recently my Mum was trading her Suzuki Swift so we had that off her knowing that the M135i was going back soon.
But the Suzuki is too small really, and now that the BMW is gone i'd rather have it back!!
Leaseplan wanted £23k for it, which is laughable given you can get one new from BMW (albeit base spec) for £24k.
It's off to auction and i'm going to have to sit on my hands to avoid making a trip down there to bid on it. Trade price seems to be around £15k-£19k.

Was yours a manual? Coast2coast cheapest auto is 26.2k with no spec. It's off to auction and i'm going to have to sit on my hands to avoid making a trip down there to bid on it. Trade price seems to be around £15k-£19k.
The very cheapest car on Autotrader is 18.5k, and that's a Cat D. There's also a fully loaded minter on at 19k, I *may* know the seller.
Thanks.
I'm contemplating leasing a second M135i for when mine goes back next year - it's not perfect but I can't really find anything I prefer. The prices aren't as good as they were two years ago but they aren't a million miles away, I've just been quoted £20/month more than I'm currently paying for an equivalent spec.
That said if you really can get 20% off list buying starts to look more attractive.

Yep I think so. 'TLR' on BabyBMW is your man.
TRL*The new 1 series might even be too ugly for me...
If you want an M235i you need to get it ordered before the end of this month to get a really good deal.
Production of M235i's is being reduced next year and so the sales incentives from BMW are being cut and dealer allocations are being reduced.
This is because they can only produce so many 2 series on the line, and they are having to make room for M2 production (around 14,000 cars over the next 2 years).
TRL has now moved to another dealership (in Croydon) - give him a call if you can move quickly.

Mine were along these lines ... no haggling, they just provided the best price straight off.

For those that got a service before handing it back - where did you go? Does it have to be at a bmw franchise due to the idrive based service record?
Also, It's due back in feb, with the idrive indicating the service is due in jan - have I left it too late to give it back without a service and without being penalised?

The option to purchase really isn't worth considering, and I just don't understand why the lease companies don't offer a more competitive price when the cars are going back into the trade for far less.
When I got mine from G2L (March 2014) a friend got a 5 door manual in EB at the same time. He sent it back early (3 weeks ago) with 11k on the clock. They'd quoted just short of £25k to buy.
I've just seen his actual car on the Autotrader for £22500! http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/2015...
