For those that got a service before handing it back - where did you go? Does it have to be at a bmw franchise due to the idrive based service record?

Also, It's due back in feb, with the idrive indicating the service is due in jan - have I left it too late to give it back without a service and without being penalised? smile
Similar situation here. My 135i shows feb 2016 service. Tempted to let it go early as have too many cars and it's due back end of March. Is there a margin on when we have to get it serviced?

Also, what are people getting next? I'm probably not going to get anything for now.

Mine went back on Thursday, 3 months early. Service wasn't due for another 10,000 miles or Feb 2016 (only put 10,000 miles on it).

Will see if I get any comeback, new car turned up this morning (3dr Golf R).

Thanks. Mine has under 10k. I suppose because it's mainly London driving the service indicator is a bit early.

Anyone wanting to jump into an M135i by March can locate me (TRL) over at BabyBMW.net. I have set up a useful option cost per month list so that you can tailor your spec and see the cost before contacting me. No haggle price. In appreciation of the number of cheap lease deals that will be expiring I have come up with this;
The New Base Price deal from TRL is M135i 3 Door Manual, in AW, no options. deposit £1000 then 47 x £299 plus GFV £13445. Based on 8K miles PA.

From that base price you can visit below to add on any further options. Other mileages upon application,

Mines soon to go back. Had it serviced cheaply so will keep to the end. Still on original tyres after 18k of hooning.

No idea what to do next. I can manage without a nice motor. Can't get the same deal again. Would love another 2 year deal at the same/similar price. M235i would be nice in red.

Thinking M4 or Porsche, but payments will be double.

It's a tough life...!

handing mine back at lease end in a month or two's time - anyone know if especially good lease deals on the M2 are likely? Else it'll be the Golf R, I think.....

Haven't the Golf R deals ended too?

There's nothing that interesting on the market at the moment, other than another M135i.

I've ordered an M-Sport 330e. I'll miss the straight six a lot but the 330e is £30 cheaper each month and fully maintained. That's not a very PH answer though, is it? hehe

No, no it's not.

Current plan is a 30k m92 M3.

Can't go turbo again. I just can't.

Just go back to driving the e46 M3 everyday!! Am loving mine now ive put the CSL SMG software on it.
Would i spend another £10-20k to be in an e92? Nope.

Sadly the e46 went over a year ago!

Any ideas what the MPG figure will be? I know it will vary a lot if you charge it every night or never!

Hopefully a little better than the 25mpg I've averaged in my (manual) M135i!

I work from home but have to travel to an office two or three times a week. I should be able to do the journey there purely on electricity. I'm hoping to sort out some means of charging at the other end. If all else fails there's a free ecotricity charger attached to a wind turbine within walking distance.

My employer will still pay 45ppm regardless of the type of vehicle used. If I go into the office 10 or 11 times a month I will have covered the monthly cost of the lease and charging.

If that works out I'll buy something interesting and thirsty to offset the tedium of what I just wrote hehe

I've just signed a re-finance deal with BMW to keep mine for the GFV of £14k. It just felt too cheap not to buy it plus I've spent quite a bit recently on it (tyres / service etc.) so may as well get the benefit out of those costs. Also extended the warranty for about £40 a month.

People who handed back early, what did you get charged? I'm looking at giving mine back 2.5 months early.

With G2L it was half the payments but without the VAT.
