22% off list is easily achievable - probably a bit more by using a couple of tricks...

I registered with BCA to keep an eye out for my M135i coming up at auction and sure enough it's just appeared on their website! Auction is in February and not far from me so I'm sorely tempted to go along and see if I can bag a bargain hehe

Hi Toon, what deal did you get (if you're OK to put on here) - seriously thinking of one for the missus (plus me to use as a bit of a toy!).

cheers.
I went for a PCP in the end. £3750 dealer contribution, £2750 discount and used my old car as deposit. Monthlies work out at £333 a month. Maybe I could have got a better deal but it was a spur of the moment thing. I went in to leave my name in case a used m135i came into stock and walked out ordering the car. The monthlies worked out the same over 4 years PCP for a new car than a 5 year loan for a used one so it just didn't make sense.

It would be interesting to know how much it goes for against how much you were expected to pay for it by the finance company - if you do go, please report back thumbup

Finance company wanted £21k at the end of December. WBAC offered £18k last week, so I'd be expecting it to go for a bit less than that, but will definitely report back if I go! smash

I found mine on there too, couldn't see the end result though as I'm not a trader. Never spotted it on AutoTrader or anything after either!

Cracking quote on a M135i. Google streetmap of them was interesting!

I recently bought a Qashqai through them. None of the dealers could get close to the C2C price. It was a very easy process and they were very nice to deal with.
I also got them to quote me for my M135i but my local dealer beat them by decent amount so didn't use them for that.

Just saw this on the leasing thread. Not an amazing deal but looks better than most lease options recently:

BMW M135i Auto
£279.23 inc VAT
£1675.37 inc VAT
8k per annum

Well I've enjoyed the last 2 years with the car, but I can't say I'm going to miss it. She's been a faithful commuter, great for some longer drives, but I haven't been on any truly memorable drives as the car just cannot give you that as a proper sports car would. I'd get in the DC2 any day for a fun drive out to the highlands!

Now, how have people handed their car back when it's close to the service interval. I got mine at the start of April 2014, so due back end of March. I'm around 3600 miles left until the first service, but now the service indicator has just turned yellow and also said the date 02/2016. How does the car work, is it condition based and you have to service whichever it hits first (date/mileage)? I obviously don't want to have to service her before handing back.

No point in handing back early as I'd only have March to pay anyway, so the return admin fee + 1/2 remaining month payment would come to more than just paying for the final month as normal.

That yellow indicator will turn red long before the end of March - it's time OR mileage, whichever comes first.

Should just be an oil service anyway surely?

Ok, and when it turns red I'm guessing that means due?

I'm at 13.5k miles at the moment and the car isn't up for 2yrs until first week of April, but I'm guessing it's condition based and now it has a predicted time for 02/2016 means that it'll need doing before end of Feb at this rate?

I could always just hardly use it commuting and use one of the other cars, then just hand it back first week of March and hope it doesn't need the service by then!

Yep oil and filters. If you supply your own oil then you'll save money. Had my service last week and didn't have time to sort out buying oil for it unfortunately but the invoice had £102 + VAT for the oil alone. £288 total price which I'm told is about average-ish.

Feck, was sure it wouldn't need a service before going back. I loath having to pay that for a car I haven't used or abused in the slightest. Probably should have done more of that, commuting must have taken the toll!

Thanks for the tips, will price up some oil off Opie and enquire on a service cost. Hoping to eek it out !!!!

Due when it turns yellow - overdue when it turns red.

The idea being that when it turns yellow you can call and book it in, and even with a couple of weeks lead time you can still get it done before it turns red.

It might need vehicle check pollen filters micro filters fuel filter and fluids so then it's £550-600 and it's all down to the Condition based servicing.

Could you not drive it for a while/let it sit on drive until the lease expires

I'd always budgeted for a set of tyres and service for mine, but when I was bored of it I thought I'd give it back 4/5 months early to avoid it all!

Mine is going back 2 months early for this exact reason smile

Surely the first service on an M135i - at less than 2 years old and with 13.5k miles on the clock - can't cost £550-£600? To be honest even a figure approaching £300 seems steep (almost double what an oil service used to cost on my E46 M3!) so £550-£600 for an initial service on an M135i seems downright ludicrous!
