When do they take the payments?
I had mine delivered on 21st March and the £1800 deposit only went out today, which i suspect is actually for Monday 21st but with bank holiday etc...
When will actual monthly payments go out?
Which lease co? Interesting question, as I'm also buying a house at the moment so I've been considering stalling my car for a few weeks so the affordability looks better.I had mine delivered on 21st March and the £1800 deposit only went out today, which i suspect is actually for Monday 21st but with bank holiday etc...

If it doesn't hit your credit check for a month after delivery then I've no problems.

Delivered on 10th March, deposit withdrawn on 28th March, although they did say it would be 10 days after delivery.
Each subsequent payment is made on the 10th of the month, including 10th April.
Has anyone who's ordered through CVL had their car delivered yet? If so did you get any communication from them in the few days prior to delivery?
The last communication I had from them was an e-mail 11 days ago, it reads like this:
"Booking confirmed - Thankyou.
Delivery Date: 19th April Saturday
The Delivery address is :"
I've had no communication since, I want to know if it's still on for delivery tomorrow and at what time so i've tried calling CVL and Knights BMW but it would appear they're both closed for Easter
It's not going to be delivered to my house in Aberdeen tomorrow is it.

Try this number for knights if you've not already: 01782 572100
I'd be VERY surprised if a large main dealer was shut on a bank holiday.

I had mine delivered yesterday from CVL. Have you given them a delivery address and proof of insurance? CVL can give you the number of BMW insurance to arrange 7 days cover for free if you need it.The last communication I had from them was an e-mail 11 days ago, it reads like this:

If CVL have the above details the delivery driver will call you about an hour before delivery.

Freedom. I had to re send all my finance documents though around 2 weeks after delivery as there was a small mistake. The deposit is showing as going out my account on 22nd which is Tuesday, i guess that is because bank holiday. It sounds like most people have their first monthly payment go out 1 month after delivery. One month for me is next Monday. Hope they wait until Friday when i get paid Delivered on 10th March, deposit withdrawn on 28th March, although they did say it would be 10 days after delivery.

I know I could read the manual but....
I just noticed that when I start the car the distance to service mileage has dropped to 17,000 from 18,000
Is this because I have ticked over the 1,000 mile mark (actually close to 1,400 now)?
That would be understandable but why the rounding if that's the case? Why not display 16,600 when I start the car in the morning.
Unless, it's not a "distance to" but a "service will be required at..." figure, in which case why the drop?

It's variable intervals which depends on factors like journey length and driving style. No point being too accurate so far out.I just noticed that when I start the car the distance to service mileage has dropped to 17,000 from 18,000

(this seems to be becoming the general M135i thread, hence my posting this q in here)
Does anyone know the specs of the usb socket - i.e. is it okay to run a 4 port usb hub off it, so I can charge up the iPad and phone and access mt usb stick of music?
I'm assuming it's only going to be 2A max, so may charge one device but not much more than that. Away from the car and manuals at the mo, and it's not obvious on the BMW site.....
