Is there any info on the Tourings?
I haven't heard anything about them, I have a 2004 320d.
I did have a look underneath it a while back on the ramp and couldn't see anything.
Hopefully it will be ok.

It seems to mostly affect higher power cars so hopefully you should be ok...

My vert was diagnosed on Friday with a small crack on the near side rear. Fingers crossed it will be approved for repair.

My car is a 67k 52 plate that i've just bought, so no chance of AUC, how much are we paying to have this done by an indi?

I saw in one post (either on here or cutters) its about £1k, a company near me have quoted £800.

Speak to Matt at Mprove mate. http://www.mprovesolutions.com/
He's based in Warrington and did mine last year. Matt posts on here as Pigskill and was a trader on M3cutters for a period but has suspended it for the time being because of his workload. Matt is one of the most knowledgeable people you'll meet when it comes to BMW M cars. I had quite a few other bits done whilst it was striped down, rtab, axle carrier bushes etc.
He also does car detailing http://www.offyourmarks.com/
