As the title really a friend of a friend as just had he's really nice Red BMW E30 M3 on BBS alloys reg no B19 LEL stolen from the Shooters Hill, Eltham, South East London area frown if anyone can keep their eyes peeled it would be much appreciated and I can be contacted through my profile, thank you.

Gutting, I've posted links up to this thread on both S14.net and S14power for you, maybe someone would do the same on E30Zone, hope it's found quickly and in one piece and he gets it back.

Sorry to hear this too. What were the circumstances? There's been a spate of regular E30 thefts across London recently, and a well known race M3 from not too far from there. Sadly given how much that will break for I wouldn't be suprised if it's already in bits. I think your only chance is if your friend has any pictures with unique details (e.g. marks on leather seats, general blemishes or stickers) keep them handy. If any bits are advertised be straight over to identify. We all have a duty not to buy stolen parts for special cars no matter how cheap or sought after otherwise scum like this will strike with more impunity.

I hope your friend gets it back, although, I am sure the insurance will have paid out at this point, in which time the car has doubled in value.

Interesting point, can the owner buy the car off the insurance company if it is recovered, will he have to pay 2017/2018 market price or the settlement figure?
