Where do we think these are going in the next few years? Whenever I have a look for any now there's only a couple around the £5.5-6k mark.

They can only go one way (imho). There's a finite number of decent ones left and I don't think that demand will diminish.

New clutch and detail for mine coming up. And one of those oem-look Andrive head units I think... I want to stream spotify damnit!

Yours is pitched at an excellent price, Mike, and should sell quickly. You've also been utterly transparent about the car's condition and faults, which is an all too rare approach nowadays.

Can you link the advert please?

Thanks, Stuart.

Mine sold in 10 hours last week after putting it on general sale on m3cutters.
And for near £11k,

Looks a good buy at £4k, that's for sure.
As above, try M3 Cutters and BMW Forums Info.

Good luck, wish i had 4 grand spare!

Cheers! I have a few people interested at coming to look at it this weekend. I'd rather be honest in my adverts, always have been, saves people wasting their time when they arrive to look at the car. Also leaves less haggling space lol.

Two things I have planned for mine. I see you're also in Surrey, I'd be interested to hear who you use for both and how you get on....

Mine's in this week having a new clutch and a raft of other work done at MJF Engineering, just South of Dorking. I'll let you know how I get on. They renewed my suspension and brakes last Summer, happy to recommend them.

I've used Keith Ormiston over in Sunbury up till now - he's a great guy and I can definitely recommend him. Today I had a chat with BMS who've not long been going over in Leatherhead and they seem like a decent outfit - already a fair few good reports on other forums, plus they do delivery/collection which is a real bonus. Was quoted £307 for labour only for clutch+dmf (have bought the clutch/dmf already).

Still not decided about the detailed. Will probably just get a full on valet/sealant to tie me over til late spring and then get the "proper" detail done.

Andrive have gone out of business so now looking at new Dynavin N6.

Would anyone care to offer an opinion on these two cars price wise?

Priced about right? Both seem to have full BMW history and recent discs pads all round.

Obviously would need to see both in the flesh for the real picture. Any opinions welcomed.

James Paul have been around for ages IIRC, they always seem to have nice stock. As with any car this age / complexity, a contingency fund is required. smile

just noticed the last service on the dealer car was 2011. I know mileage based servicing etc and hasn't done many miles since. I guess buy on condition but would it put you off?

1st - doesn't appear to have rear parking sensors, I thought all UK cars had those as standard, may mean crash or may mean no cost option to delete. Wheels have been re-furbed in the wrong colour. Looks lovely with the exception of the above, oh and I'd want to know the new discs and pads were BMW ones.

2nd - pre facelift with facelift changes (if that matters to you), looks like it's been well looked after and well used from the description.

Both seem too expensive to me but that may either be the miles or just me.

Thanks for the thoughts. They do seem expensive seeing as I could get a more modern e55k that said last of manual M5's. I had an E34 for 4 years and utterly loved that so I might just have to haggle hard and see where I get to.

Parking sensors was an option on 99 cars, but they were standard kit from 2000.
