@ cidered, enjoy your ride.
The only thing that would of bugged me was the 2 owners of a 7000 mile vehicle. Hope it proves reliable for you. Looks great in black.
that's where as well as the google streetview and LinkedIn stalking you can do via the V5 details, the advantages of the Professional music system kick in!The only thing that would of bugged me was the 2 owners of a 7000 mile vehicle. Hope it proves reliable for you. Looks great in black.
one of the last owner(s) left some of their music on the hard drive - i reckon anyone who includes Mozart, Beethoven, the Beatles, Paul Simon and the Beach Boys as their only saved music isn't likely to be a boy racer

By 'edge' I mean not its performance capabilities as im sure softening or adjusting a little would definitely make it faster on bumpy bouncy british roads, but I kind of like the ways its a tad firm,it makes it feel a bit naughty, adding to the impression that its something a little more hardcore,i like its nervousness.
It will be interesting to see your findings after you have had the work done. The route your taking ie suspension first is the one I would go down closely followed by a trip to Evolve.

I'm with you on that. it is firm, it does slither around on a bumpy B-road sometimes flicking the traction control light on even in 3rd.... maybe "skittish" isn't the right adjective because it sounds negative, "alive" is probably too abstract - but you get the idea. if it were softer may be a little more compliant, but that might detract from it's character. Mind you - although i'm 350 miles up over the weekend, there have only been two "proper" drives, so all that may well be bks and it's just me getting used to the transition between the R26 Megane to the 1M...

we should organise that route you know or at least do some local roads if you fancy hooking up. Starting to sound like an e92 owner making advances....
yes - out for two weeks from friday, but when back and better idea of the calendar i'll put something on this thread. had to drive the mother in law back to Didcot Parkway tonight, drove back the long way via Wantage and then the epic B4494... fantastic!

You passed my house!
3 years, 12.5k very happy miles, and this car is for sale. The only private sale 1M on autotrader, 19.3k miles -shouldn't be hard to find.
Has been the best car I've ever owned, but since buying the Clio Trophy in 2014 to avoid putting too many miles on it and keep it "special", it's been used less and less- and started racing this year, and whilst fast road cars are fun, cornering at 1.9G is much funerer and puts real speed in perspective..
Car is immaculate, has been driven in the most part like my granny on the roads (0 points in 20 years - always saved it for the track). Did half a track day in July 2013 at Bedford but felt too guilty to track it again - assumed Clio would be a track car, but the other 182 owners saying "oh, you're tracking a Trophy!?" I felt too guilty tracking that as well so thought bugger it lets go racing !
Looked after by Nick at detailmycar in Newbury, paint is perfect, MOT'd a week ago, new front tyres going on Tuesday, rears are fine. PSS not PS3, of course.
If I didn't need the money to build a garage and to rebuild a Sports 2000 car with a blown engine I'd never sell, but - life moves on

On pistonheads as well now. Didn't realise long term membership gave you a fee-free add, nice touch - always a little cynically assumed the site was funded by ads, and getting you to pay up was part of the business model. Cheers PH fellas.
