Providing its been looked after it shouldn't be a problem. I would of thought that mileage is probably motorway mileage and also shows its been used regularly which means it should be fine.

If sub 10K cars are going for circa £40K and more, then imo, yes. I'm sure that others will not agree with me however.

I'd aim to pay 30, that's a fair price for it.

Let's wait and see what happens to 1M values with the launch of the M235i. My prediction is nothing

M235i... faster ring time (than 1M)
^^ do you think that people really would buy one over the other purely on some arbitrary thing as a 'Ring time? Not being provocative towards you, it sounds that way from some posters on the thread...

At £32k it is cheap enough - mileage shouldn't be a worry although its higher than average!

Currently have my (near 36k miler) for sale in the classifieds at the moment.

Not sure if it was any of yourselves that called me last week? Unfortunately I was away offshore with work with no access to my phone, came home at the weekend with various voice mails. It would of helped if I mentioned in the advert that email is the best method of contact but I forgot frown

So 1M's are now being advertised for more than higher spec, lower mileage, E92 M3's of a similar age? Strange old world but good luck to 1M owners if their cars are making that sort of money!

Interesting thread.... I've been thinking of selling my 1M but been on the fence as I can't think of a suitable replacement!

What are people's views on value, based on the following:
- Black
- 2011/11 with 6.5k mls
- pretty much every option
- paint protection film on the entire car except for rear bumper and boot lid
- BMW Performance Seats (installed from new by supplying dealer)
- BMW Performance Steering Wheel (v2 with shift lights), also installed from new by supplying dealer

has had running in service on time and I've also had an oil change carried out (not necessary but just wanted to keep it in top condition).

Any thoughts on value ?

If you have the original seats, you'd be better off selling the performance seats and the steering wheel separately. You'd probably get around £2700 for those items. Then you should be able to get around 38/39k for your car, going on similar cars on PH.

thanks for the feedback - seems a shame to split the parts but i take your point.

Have the original seats, so maybe that is the way forward!

No problem. It is a shame to split the parts- but I imagine it would be easier to sell the car at 38/39k than 41/42k.I have the same steering wheel and really love it,even if it is a bit geeky smile

Values just gone up.

Found out my 1M (that I sold back in May) has been written off and scrapped.

400 registrations as @ end Q2 2013 (389 licensed and 11 SORN)
412 registrations as @ end Q2 2012 (407 licensed and 7 SORN)

Guess a few others are getting written off frown

I'd expect some to have been exported to other RHD places (Oz/NZ/etc)? So maybe not on UK roads any more, but still alive (hopefully)?
