Erm, anal mode on.....
I've averaged 17.53 since delivery and the last fill was 15.73 (I use an app called Road Trip and religiously complete it after every fill up).
So that's....
3447 miles in total since 24th November
£1249 spent on fuel
£0.357/mile
£1.377/ltr average (Super only)
270 miles per tank
Could be worse
Mainly town driving and a few longer trips which will move the average mpg upwards.
The computer in the car suggests 17.9mpg average so it's not far out of my 'real' figure.
To be honest, I'm happy as the fun per £ spent is worth it

4.4 TT, enjoying the car, what would 'we' expect?

Serious question...
4.4 TT, enjoying the car, what would 'we' expect?
Dunno really. As something to take to the office a couple of times per week (mine is 80 miles away) i'd want to be able to get 2 trips there and back out of it because that's what i do each week. It's well specced and no doubt a nice place to be, so that would be what i'd want to use it for. But at that MPG it would annoy me filling up £100 per week just to do that commute, and then more for weekend outings with family.4.4 TT, enjoying the car, what would 'we' expect?

If it was a toy then i wouldn't care what it did to the gallon or the range, but then i wouldn't want something so comfy!
Horses for courses i suppose, but for our uses i couldn't justify something like that.
The M135i (yes i know) will do about 300-350 on a tank and only cost about £60 to fill, and that's great for the job.

I'm averaging around 18mpg mixed use, more than I hoped but no biggie. My e90 M3 used to average 15mpg and my 6.0 Monaro before that used to do 14mpg! Which is a good achievement considering they were lighter and much slower. If it was a toy then i wouldn't care what it did to the gallon or the range, but then i wouldn't want something so comfy!

Hi guys
What's the situation with these deals at the moment? Who is best to talk to for the best deal? Thanks in advance.
I haven't heard of anything other than the standard BMW deal of £683.99 inc vat, on a base spec car. What's the situation with these deals at the moment? Who is best to talk to for the best deal? Thanks in advance.
4 months ago the same deal was coming in at £587....just wish someone had cancelled their order, cos I missed the Q4 deal by about 12 days.

This is my deal so you can use it as a reference to any available now:
Standard F10 M5
14k miles per year, road tax paid for me.
£3.7k deposit and £630/month all figures include Vat.
2 year term.
Was this recent tho? Or Q4 from last year? Haven't seen anything like that for a while...seems to be around £589+ vat on 6 + 35, 8k miles. The 24 month deals are substantially more.Standard F10 M5

The only way to get close to £600/month is by putting in a hefty deposit.
