That *isn't* a lease....this thread is about least rates and my link and reference to Eastern was to a lease deal. Why you'd want to put 10k in and be committed to 4 years I don't know...I guess if you wanted to buy it.....
Do you have anything useful to contribute other than to tell others what they should or shouldn't be posting?

Yes. Having gotten over the irony of you posting apparently suggesting I shouldn't post telling others what not to post..... you might note (given that you quoted me saying as much) that I posted the eastern links and also highlighted that a 10k deposit isn't a feature. How about you move along and find something useful to post yourself ? Simply pointing out that these topics are covered elsewhere (as you did in an earlier post) doesn't warrant your post, did you get out of bed the wrong side?

Guys, should we keep the BIK/LLP/Company discussion in the general lease threads - if you search it has been done to death, the idea of this thread is m5 lease rates?
Should we? It's quite relevant to a lease thread, perhaps people don't want to search through old threads and would like to ask or discuss a question related to the thread subject?

I see no issue, not sure why you should.

There's a very current lease thread which has done this to death. I would assume most people come here to look at m5 lease rates, hence my on topic post to the Eastern deal. I'm not going to waste more posts that people interested in m5 lease rates will have to read to go further off topic with you about the benefits of using search and staying on topic, life's too short smile

I come here to look at M5 lease rates but what stops me having one is the bik as a company car . When someone suggests an llp has tax advantages that may make an M5 lease affordable to me I think it is very relevant to the thread ... and when suggested on this thread it makes sense to me to ask here rather than " use the search function " as " life's too short " .
Anyway , an llp doesn't work either ...

Yeah I can't see how LLP will work either. BIK applies to any company formation? Its not purely aimed at targeting Ltd companies?

And if anyone doesn't like our discussion, don't read it.

Why can't you lease it personally?

The problem is I quite like M5 lease rate information, which this isn't, and get excited each time I see there's a new post only to find it is pretty much irrelevant and probably covered elsewhere. If you don't like my suggestions, don't read them smile

I may well do but it would be cheaper if my company paid and I didn't get taxed !!
However I think I'm more likely to buy one that's 3 years old ish.

Hope nobody got excited that this was a post detailing £200 per month 30000 miles per annum ,no deposit for a top spec m5 lease ....

Unfortunately tax is a killer and makes these a non-starter as a company car - that said, mate of mine has just ordered a new 991 Turbo S as his company caryikes

Makes that much he's not bothered about BIK?

Not true. Speak to an accountant who understands this.

My accountant suggests it's not right for our business too.

Don't think it works in some cases.
