Ok so hopefully my new m135 arrives soon courtesy of G2L. Will need to get sorted with a winter set though. Couple of questions:

Do standard 1 series alloys fit the m135 (I assume they do judging by some of the pics on this thread)?

Are there any decent quality (though not ridiculously expensive) CSL replicas available?

As far as I can tell, answer to Q1 is no. There are only specific options available.

Doh! Was hoping the 18" f20 msport alloys would fit. (386 I think). Of course on ebay the seller assures that they will fit fine!!

Various threads on babybmw like this- http://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=41...

379s are nice if you want 17s.

Hi

I don't have an M135i, but a 120d M Sport with the M Sport brake upgrade option (blue callipers). I have been told by two dealers that you have to fit 18" wheels (385 and 388) to clear the brake disk/calliper. I was under the impression that you can fit 17"s and you would be ok. Please could someone clarify whether I have to get 18"s or whether 17" are fine.

Cheers

What are the winter tyre sizes given in your owners manual?

I would have to check (not to hand at the moment). The tyre size that would come with the 385/388 wheels would be 225/40/R18 92 V according to BMW. However, those are the Pirelli sottozero 2s, which didn't fare so well in the tests, unlike the sottozero 3s, which seem to be one of the best current winter tyres.

I can't find the page on the BMW site right now, but when I checked last week there were two 17" and two 18" winter wheel options for the M135 direct from BMW. If I remember correctly the prices went from £1300+
