It's a CSL, which had the purist option of aircon and stereo deletion...
I do love this ethos. Everyone wants the latest 35 speaker system, electric everything, etc which all adds that little debated thing called WEIGHT.I'd love to see comparisons between base spec cars and "fully loaded" ones. I bet some push 50kgs more.

Sign of the times and people want luxury, gizmos, handling and speed.

Yes a stripped CSL is ~30kg lighter to a fully loaded CSL (xenon, aircon, radio-cd, alarm, rain sensor).I'd love to see comparisons between base spec cars and "fully loaded" ones. I bet some push 50kgs more.
At 1385kg is a big issue
The M135 isn't an M car as per BMW, but quite a lot of M car owners past and present have them and rate them highly so I see no reason why there shouldn't be threads about them in the M section.
I'll be ordering a new car in the autumn and will be testing a M235i if they're aren't doing decent deals on the new M3 by then.

When I bought our 335d a while back I looked at the 335i but there seemed to be all sorts of issues from coil packs to HPFPs. I know plenty who have had issues with that engine and it put me off.
I hung on for a year with the M135i to see if the engine was reliable; it seems it is and do are the late 335is with the N55 engine.
You might be lucky but while I was happy to run a 335d outside warranty, I don't think I'd do the same with an N54 engined 335i.
Best thing to do is speak to a good BMW technician (I know a few) and see what they think.
FFS the M power forum is not the place for talking about 335d and 335i never mind the ttting m135i. I hung on for a year with the M135i to see if the engine was reliable; it seems it is and do are the late 335is with the N55 engine.

And anyway, that's coming from a man with a diesel Audi with "s-line" trim!
