It was mine! Glad to see it's ended up in good hands. I'd have had it back myself could I have afforded the repair!

Be interested to know how much it cost you and how much/what needs putting right?

PM me if you need anything. I think I may still have the manual somewhere.

It was/is an awesome car. Manual and E90, plus a beaut of an exhaust. Never failed to start, potent and comfortable. You don't need me to tell you how good they are though!

What tyres have you gone for? I have the same car (manual M3 E90) and need a complete set all round. The PS2 Michelin's have lasted about 7 months...? Thanks for your suggestions?

Do you have before and after photos?

I would be interested in seeing the story behind this one, what happened and the repair. Sounds like a cool wee story.

What happened was as follows:

Heavy rain, about 4 degrees C, his a pot hole in a puddle, lost traction on one rear wheel completely, diff kicked power over to other wheel, loss of control, then sideways into some pedestrian railings. Thought I'd had a blow out on NSR, but no, too much gas in the wrong circumstance plus a slightly dodgy road surface. My fault, nobody else's.

Brilliant car, glad to see it coming back to life.

OP, sent you a PM email. If you see that I've answered most of your questions already. And I found the spare key today too!

Ace! I love the fact it's a PH car brought back to life.

OP, you owe the previous owner a NICE bottle of wine at the very least wink

It hurts to see it! frown

But at the same time, it's great to see it go to a loving home and not be scrapped! Looking forward to seeing it brought back to life.

Hi All ! Just joined up,I have owned two E46 M3's in the past in coupe and convertible guise and sold them both due to running costs and our stty economy, well things aint got any better so I'm thinking what the hell you only live once right ?? .... So am looking for a decent spec E92 M3, Theres a few questions i want to put out there the first is ; Is it wise to pick one up now as the transition from M3 and M4 is upon us regarding price drops etc secondly, is it worth the extra money for the competition pack, and lastly .... There are a few decent priced ones with frozen paint options mostly frozen grey anybody own one and how are they to live with regarding everyday use and cleaning etc ??? Ps get me out of the my mini countryman hahahaha !!!

car is finally finished and on the road, what a car not as quick as I thought it would be but you have to take the weight of it into account, but as an all round car its awesome cant wait now to feel this engine in my e30 m3 nearly half the weight and no gadgets

Nice, looks great.

The S65 engine is a slow burner. Few people jump into one and think its fast straight away. Over time you will learn its strengths and weaknesses. Over 5,500rpm in second or third and it's an absolute missile, mine is anyway. smile

I love the engine in my M3. But it needs revs!

Now you need the OEM exhaust mod...
