BMW V10 values going up?
Discussion
Last month I did a little price check on www.webuyanycar.com and they offered me £13,000 for my BMW M6. Now, I know that is ridiculous so ignored it. So this morning I did the same check again, ticked all the right boxes and they offered me £18990.
It's a 68000 mile car with 2 year AUC warranty and a full service history but it's got me thinking, if values are starting to go up for these beasts - as long as they are well maintained - perhaps it's worth hanging on to ?

They offered you close to £19k on a car with that mileage? Really? That seems very very good if you ask me.
I've been considering parting with my sub 60k miler and would only be asking for around that much.
Another excuse to keep it
ETA: Just put mine through the WBAC valuator and they offered £14,225 More realistic!

I see Sytner have one up at £25,850 with 57000 miles on it which I think is a bit punchy, whether they'll get near that who knows. I'm putting my 2005 M6 on the market shortly so gauging the market values. Mine is just shy of 78000 miles but I'm hoping the fact that having had a new gearbox, clutch, flywheel plus some other items done under warranty since December will make it a more appealing car.
I've done over 8000 miles in 7 months in it as my daily drive but can't justify the fuel bills anymore (don't flame me for buying a car that is known to be expensive to run, I've done more miles in 7 months than most people tend to do in 2 years in an M6 and it's wanted for nothing on the servicing front!)

BMW Hexagon of Highgate have sold to Spire Group and now called "Spire Highgate"
Hexagon are now continuing but selling BMW M Powers and Porsches. They have a modern classics division in North London and a classic division in South Kensington
Google Hexagon Classics or Hexagon Modern Classics.

The values of these are only going one way and it sure as hell isn't up.
+1These are expensive cars to run increasingly falling into the hands of those who can't afford to maintain them correctly.
Whilst looking for my e39 a found several dirt cheap e60's I could afford, but my head said no.
