Hi,

I have just acquired a Miltek center section. I will be mating this to the OEM backbox.

Any opinions? I'm looking for a deeper tone....

Thanks

I have - but it was on a CSL. I had Miltek with 100 cell cats into a standard CSL back box - so I guess a similar set-up to the one that you are asking but also dissimilar in that the CSL system is different to start.

However - I had this system for exactly the same sort of reason - I wanted a throaty (and freer breathing system) without altering the sound too much. It was a little louder (and deeper) on throttle but not noticeably on a light or trailing throttle.

Might help you.

Was yours resonated or non resonated mate?

Sorry - missed your reply. I'm afraid I can't help you much on that one. I bought a cat-back system minus the back-box. I do not remember being given the option of resonator v non-resonator - though it was bought to increase the engine breathing without intrusive noise - so I guess it would be whatever version met that criteria.
Sorry not more helpful
