After wanting one for a while, finally got around to getting one.

Had it just over 6 weeks, and love it.

Looks great, warranty needs to be up to date, and good to go.

Sweet looking car!

Looking at your pic....are you in the countryside? If so....you will quickly quickly fall in love. These things are total weapons once properly hooked up with the right set up!

The photos are from a 1200 mile jount to North Wales. but I am down on the South Coast.
Petrol station locations added as POI on the Sat Nav.
Great car, just thinking the exhaust is not quite right, so might start looking for a better sounding replacement.

Update - Noticed a few dots of fluids on the drive, and when washing the car, there was a brownish stain in the suds. Turns out the power steering cooler was leaking, which was replaced by my local indie yesterday.

How is your steering? Does it make a screeching sound and then quieten down after a short while? Mine had a power steering pump replaced under warranty in November and they underfilled it with fluid - queue the expected moans and groans. I then filled it with CHF11s and it's been brilliant ever since.

The fluid was getting low when I first noticed the dots on the drive - this was before Christmas.

Went to check on it again at the end of the year, and the fluid was almost all gone, so topped it up, and booked it in.

I was quite lucky, as a good 500ml of CHF11 had dripped out on to the under tray, but the steering was fine, and no noises.

Roll on a dry day

Swapped the air filters to BMC ones last night, the car seems a little sharper in P400 mode.

Taking it to Exmoor this weekend, so i'll see how P500 mode is.

Fingers crossed for no MAF issues.

You don't drive in P500 mode all the time? confused
The power button is the first thing I press when getting into the car.

When you're down in Exmoor you should be in P500S biggrin

Those wheels look awful on the M6 and should definitely only be seen on an M5 Touring. biglaugh

As I'm such a nice person, I'll extend my helpfulness by offering to take them off your hands...... smile

A very kind offer wink

Ordered black kidney / side grills too, i'll do a before after once they arrive.

Tempted to buy the Eibach lowering kit too, and there is a good DIY on fitting, but concerned I might ruin the ride - anyone else lowered theirs?

Lovely car, but I'll never understand why they did the 400/500 thing does it improve economy?

No! It's not like it shuts off any cylinders.
P400 is pointless IMO. Less power, less responsiveness, less noise, more clutch slip, etc.

Seems a bit silly doesn't it, I wouldn't want mine to have a 460/560 mode either but I guess you get used to pressing the power button.

Completed my trip to Exmoor, 12 hours door to door, but well worth it.

Highlights -

8500 rpm through the tunnel north of Beaminster (A3066)

A390 west from Minehead, though Porlock to Lynmouth - just wow.

B3223 from Lynmouth to Simonsbath, and down to Dulverton.

The car was great, lots of 2nd and 3rd gear corners, which have good sight, and the slightly warmer weather really allowed me to use all of the revs, without many complaints from the tyres.

BMC filters seemed to add a little more "perkiness" to the first 2 - 3000 rpms.

(P500S for the whole trip biggrin )

Did you use the private toll road that leads west out of porlock back up to the A39? i did it a few years back in my missus's car and it was a hoot.
