So I don't like the random grey wing mirrors on my black car which they didn't tell me about. Now I have to pay £120 extra to have them the same colour as the rest of the car? So we pay £550 for all the car paint except the wing mirrors and then 20% more to finish the job?
What's that all about?
Rant over.

So you didn't notice the ferric grey mirrors to go with the ferric grey wheels and ferric grey fins on any pictures or test drives or cars you've looked at and its their fault?

I knew just about very inch of the 30k car before I went any where near ordering the thing.

Quite right. 'Always Read The Label'. They quite clearly all have grey mirrors.

Why take away the main distinguishing feature of the M135i for those in the know?

Although it is a bit of an Audi trademark for S and RS models.

Mine's black, and I really like how the wing mirrors compliment the wheels, exhausts etc.

I think it's a terrible idea, if they must have them in a different colour it should be an option and not a default the Audi look is horrible.

It was always one of my favourite design features on the car, I didn't realise that it was such a divisive issue.

How do you think they could have further differentiated the car in terms of design instead?

A different design maybe?

For the last 20 or so years, a wingmirror in a different colour meant the driver was pretty crap at judging the width of their car, or they live on a narrow street.
I never knew it was their "thing", but you can be fairly sure that 90% of the people out there will think the original has been broken, and a cover picked up from a scrap yard which might get painted in the future if someone gets round to it.
