It's actually a Sport Evo as well.

I think it has either been restored or is undergoing restoration now.

I'll ask the next time I speak to the owner.

Are those original alloys? I'm not keen on them at all and would change.

Look like BBS CH and BBS RC alloys, both non-original E30 alloys you want a set of BBS RS ones

They are much nicer - is that size bigger than the OEM (but of the same style)

As far as originality goes I would think the wheels would be the least concern wink but no they're not original. As said above RC's off the top of my head. Those RS's are lovely to look at, I had a staggered set on my previous M3 but as nice to look at, they are a pain in the t@ts to keep nice so I got rid, also the car drove a LOT nicer on the original 16" baskets.

I imagine that car is quite spritely if it works properly!

Anyone got a opinion ( hopefully based on some experience ) of what a bare ( no other panels or parts ) M3 shell is worth with clean title ID and plates etc ? Has the usual rot to the scuttle and front floor pan/bulkhead/sill and possibly needs an inner wing replacement.

Yes, the wheels would have to go but I couldn't live with those BBS. They're just too much for me and a bit too commonly seen.

Depends where the shell is I guess, when it comes to value. Pics would help too.

i'm on my third e30 m3.
as a current owner i'm happy with how the prices are, and i don't think they've peaked yet, far from it.
Needs a Porsche badge for values to get any higher.

CSL price increases seem to have slowed down.

I love E30 M3's, I mean REALLY love them, but that is a serious amount of money to be asking for one, as nice as they may be. I'm probably wrong but I just can't see these selling at that level. Guaranteed to be sold by the end of the week now I've said that biglaugh

Why would you chop through the rarest part of the shell and ruin the rear window hoop?

You'd have to be brave to take a punt on that. No doubt someone will though.

The only people winning from the silverstone auctions are silverstone auctions. Buyers and sellers premiums are high.

As e30s are now going over £100k the market will slow but the e36 market may pick up.

Seems to have a few bids on it.... No doubt will reappear as a complete car being sold for £100k

Evidently there's a vin included, which doesn't bode well for someone in the future. Seller is asking for payment by Great Western though, so might be around for a while. Evidently £2.6k buys it.
