So they sold the original engine, that could have been sorted for about £1200, then spent £4500 on a replacement? I'm surprised they went to the effort of repainting the cam cover, yet left the red clocks and piped leather.

Hi Mark don't think its a cecotto engine as the cam cover and airbox were painted same as car and the cecotto came in only three colours Misano Red,Nogaro Silver and Macao Blue, unless the photos are pre engine replacement.

This looks like a very nice example.

Considering some of the complete sheds that have sold for big money recently, I think this is good value if it's as nice as he says it is.

I don't think this one will hang around long.

Wow, it's in Huddersfield, my home town! Mighty tempted but it is alot of money. Can't see them increasing much in value significantly either now.

This one is being sold by ML.

Considering this is being sold by a specialist dealer with a warranty, I'd say prices are dropping...of am I missing something with this car, Jap spec perhaps? Mileage?

Lack of rear badge may point to previous repairs? ML don't usually put prices either, so maybe selling for a third party or trade sale?

Those last two really are scraping the bottom of the barel.

A RHD E30 M3 is just so.....wrong.

Whereas the M3 cabriolet replica is a proper looking mess.

Maybe, but badge delete was a factory option, a box ticked by the 1st owner of my car.

Ahh, I didn't know that. In truth, I was going by a comment made about my own car, where the badge was missing.

Shill bidding. His mates are probably helping bump the price up.

Let's face it, which idiot is going to spend £40k on a non original E30 that looks as though it has been molested by Jimmy Savile?

I think it's probably due to an ebay oxygen thief ruining someones listing. Had it before and I'm sure will happen again. The seller looks new with only 3 feedback and probably doesn't know how to cancel the bid maybe??
