I hope he has a dust cover for it, because it is going to be there a long time.

'not too sure about that one on PistonHeads FOR £53k.

The advert reads ...

"This example also has the extremely rare optional extra cost adjustable Bodge Dampers"

'seems a shame on such a nice car. whistle

Spoken to a couple of UK dealers recently and 5 UK M3 have sold in excess of £30k. Whilst Evo prices are definitely coming down a little, it seems regular models are still creeping up.

Does anyone have direct knowledge of people paying £80-100K for Evo cars ? Does an owner exist that has paid this kinda money ?

I may be wrong but didn't Chris Harris pay somewhere in that ballpark?

Think he is/was selling in that range, haven't seen or read anything to say he bought in the range.

He bought from Classic Heroes, so am pretty confident it wasn't what one might call a bargain.

Ah, I was unaware of where he got the car from. Do you remember their asking price ?

It may well be early on in this thread? I don't recall myself but don't think it was hugely reduced from price he was asking.

I seem to recall an asking price of £85K

Just for ref, here's one he was selling at Essen in 2012 for £59k:

There was a German-reg 964 RS for sale for €69k across the way, which with exchange rates at the time worked out about the same

Heard of a genuine offer of £110k made on an SE yesterday, but declined by owner. He's decided to sit on it a while longer.

If anyone is in the market for a freshly rebuilt s14/2.5 drop me an email.

Looks like this one has been laid up for some years,

15k for a m3 needing a lot of work, Would probably swallow another 15k + to get it back to its prime I would think.

(Can't seem to link the add from CarandClassic)

Interesting to know they are actually selling for big money.
That red car in Ireland sounds like a lot of work when the owners says it needs a new roof.
