This one is back again with a hefty price increase.

I wonder has the restoration been done properly this time.

What's so bad about it ?
Nicely restored but poor quality respray and wrong carpets..a great base to make into a very special car if someone puts 5k to 7k into it..
Ah, I take it you looked at it as a possible purchase ? Shame if it is being let down by the paint, given it looks to have had considerable work.
I inspected it when the previous owner brought it to ML for work.

Terrible paint, poor panel gaps, incorrectly painted things such as the bonnet hinge bar and many incorrect fittings were some of the remaining issues after it left us from having many electrical and mechanical issues sorted to make the car useable.

The term 'thrown together' was more apt than restored.

Not seen one of these on the market for a while would be interesting to see what this makes.

Does anyone now run their M3 with satin sills now, or have they all been repainted gloss over the years ?

Bargain ! How on earth do you sell something asking £28K and describe it with the lone word 'project' ? I can't help thinking spending up to 60 seconds typing a description might save you email and phone call hassles.

That's crazy! it needs at least another 10k spent to get it back to a decent roadworthy condition....

Jesus, for those of us who've restored one of these cars, I can't see how any price less than £10k would make this viable - £10k rust, £5k body, £5k paint, £10k engine rebuild, £5k interior, £10k other stuff. At £28k, I could see £60k being swallowed just to get an average car......no thanks.

In fairness to seller, it says will accept best offer. I imagine he put £28k to help put off the ''2 grand cash now bruv'' brigade.

Also, with E30 M3's being so expensive now, a project car that can be built up as time and finances allow might be someones only viable route to ownership. I would rather pay a bit over the odds for a car like this and know I finally own one, than simply watch them all get snapped up and be put even further out of reach. I've probably spent the original purchase price on my own car.

If everyone who wants an E30 M3 had that view now, they would most likely never buy one.

You'd have to be extremely lucky to find a sub £10k M3 now.

They might still exist, but they will be sold very quickly, if they even make it to an advert on the internet.

That project looks pretty solid now, but would obviously needs close inspection.

But if everything was there, a cheap respray and you could be in to an E30 M3 for less than £35k, still a good way off the £50k cars at the specialists.

That might now be one of the cheapest ways in to a M3.

Good project for a bodyshop owner if its a complete car...put it in a corner and work on it when things are quiet, knowing its (probably) rising in value as it sits

Not an E30 M3 but it's close and much much rarer. POA

I'm going to take a guess at somewhere between €150,000 - €200,000.
