A What car thread.
Discussion
Hi Gents
Yet another boring what car thread.
We currently have a B10 V8 and a Prodrive WRX wagon. Both good cars in their own way, zero wrong with either of them. We have 1 15 month old and another arriving in about 10 weeks.
I recently had a hip replacement and consequently we are going to change the WRX for an X5 for my wife and I will get the B10 back.
Given that we will be able to use the X5 for family duties, I'm wondering if I can justify getting back into an M car rather than the Alpina.
Either an E46 M3 (SMG) or maybe stretch to an E60 M5.
Any thoughts? Or am I being daft and I shoudl just stick with a perfectly good B10 (which is what all my mates are telling me).

Personally love a what car thread, but as a rule I think the final decision should be proven with a picture!
1. Budget
2. Miles per year
Anyway I would go for the E60 M5 because petrol is not getting any cheaper and the E46 isn't bad on fuel so you could get that after if you like. There is nothing wrong with sticking to the Alpina either, but I would assume that because you are asking this question you just fancy a change and want to try something else.
E60 M5 gets my vote.
