Looking for an E46 M3 in the following trim:

- Manual (no SMG)
- Without sunroof
- Under 75k miles
- Full BMW service history including 1200 mile run in service
- Proof of bearing recall if pre-facelift
- Proof of boot floor check/condition
- HPI clear

Anyone thinking of selling?

If only you'd take SMG.

They're great boxes.

Nope.

Assuming you've the ability to modulate your right foot between off and floored, and you're smart enough to know it's an automated manual box, not a torque converter, they're great.

Still my favourite boxes, and I'd take one over dual clutch. They've no character.

The SMG IS a manual box, you've just got a computer operating the clutch instead of your left foot wink

Totally agree with you over proper automated boxes though, I chose the 6MT over the ZF8 on my M135i as I can't stand good autos.

I have the ability and intelligence to modulate both feet and enjoy the manual experience.

I am sorry but the smg in auto mode just doesn't do it for me, it's fine when manually selecting the gears but dire in auto especially at lower speeds when pottering around town....

Oh character it has, but then so does a Renault 4 gear stick.

I have exactly the spec you're looking for other than it's just clocked 76k.
Boot floor replaced summer '13 @ Vines BMW Redhill. Fresh MPSS tyres, over 10k till next service.
Black, black leather, harmon kardon, non-sunroof, manual. FBMWSH with all receipts from new including running in service.
It's been a London/city car so unfortunately has a lot of little dents, parking damage and wheels need refurbishing. It is very clean underneath though.
Not entirely sure about selling it but if you wanted to give me more than 7k then I'd be tempted.
Message me if you're interested.
Thanks,
Sam

Sold mine recently, spec as per Op with 67K.

Very clean 2004 car. Sold for 11K if it's any guidance.

I sold mine 2 weeks ago. 53 plate manual coupe , 42k miles. It went for £10,500 after I had 3 offers at the same money. I thought it was too low, but no one seemed to want to pay more as it was silver. Shame, as it was a stunning car in mint condition...

Well done - seems really good money.. Mine's a 2003 but annoyingly has lots of little parking dents, tempted to get it all sorted and keep it. Just can't think of anything to replace it with - as per the thread on here lol smile

Mine has been replaced by an M135i.

Not intentionally, meant to keep both, but the M135i is a much better daily car, and quick enough to make going through the rigmarole of getting the M3 out (it's at the back of the drive) not worth the reward frown

Cheers. Yep, have done that. Edited the advert and it has been stuck on 'Moderation' since Friday! Hoping for a fix on Monday.

It was mate, but unfortunately I had no interest in the car at higher prices...
