Time to change the brakes.

I'm planning the odd trackday and want to know if anyone has experience with EBC yellow pads with standard discs? Was this sufficient? Do they squeal on road use?

Any other options?

Good bite point and work well from cold. They give off a lot of dust though and squeak a bit.

That was my last encounter with them and I dare say is still the case unless they have changed their compound material for the pads.

I did not like the EBC pads, lacked confidence in my mind, changed mine for Mintex 1155's. These were made for me and I loved, but I have always liked Mintex pads in my track cars.
My set up was std discs and callipers totally refurbished on solid bushes with race brake fluid and braided lines with the Mintex pads on 18" wheels with PSS tyres......loved it, taking track days use all day long.

Down sides.....they squealed and were dusty, and were going to pit the rims eventually unless you were on top of the cleaning.
