The M5 pisses on the M3/M4.
It's just the natural way of things, M5s are VERY special cars.
Does it though? It's just the natural way of things, M5s are VERY special cars.
I've had an f10 m5 and whilst they are superb cars, they just don't feel special enough to me
M3 looks better IMHO, and the rest is to be decided when I get one to drive without a salesman next to me!

As I said I have thrashed the M3 and will thrash the M4 tomorrow, but they will not match the shear grunt of the M5.I've had an f10 m5 and whilst they are superb cars, they just don't feel special enough to me

They are good on the twisty roads for sure, but thump and crash around doing it.
I found the sports seats uncomfortable over a distance and they are NOT changeable to the "multi-Funtion seats", so the car is out for me any which way.
Interior finish is IMO "Low rent".

The M5 is just in a different league.
The M3/M4 are fabulous cars, wonderful.
But the M5 is better.
Because it's faster in a straight line? Tbh M5 doesn't really appeal to me, whereas M3 does, as I feel the M3 could be used in a similar way to a 911 (around country roads etc. and take to a track day etc). The M3/M4 are fabulous cars, wonderful.
But the M5 is better.

M5s have a habit of getting under your skin.
Quality, technology, real road presence and serious performance, especially top end, stunning cars, more so the longer you spend learning.
Enjoy your M3, I'll stick with the M5.
Where do you use the top end performance though? Tbh if I didn't need space for family etc. or had time to use 2 cars.... I'd be in an Exige V6 ha! I'm in an AMG now and it's very fast straight line, but too big to throw down country lanes like you would my old supercars.Quality, technology, real road presence and serious performance, especially top end, stunning cars, more so the longer you spend learning.
Enjoy your M3, I'll stick with the M5.
