F10 M5 limit is not 155mph
Discussion
Hi,
I've just been driving on a European motorway and my bog standard M5 reached 170mph without hitting a limiter. I know it's supposed to be restricted to 155mph but obviously it's not. Anyone else gone way over 155mph without hitting the limiter? Or anyone else hit the limiter at 155mph or any other speed?
Oh, and there was a lot of shove still remaining at 170mph. It just didn't stop pulling hard until I ran out of appropriate road and slowed down but it felt like there was a fair bit more there.

E60 M5: 169mph/270kph indicated, it hit the limiter and cut the throttle. My understanding is that it will go above 155mph/250kph for a short period of time but settle back to 155mph.
and I'll be there tomorrow 7amM11 between Stansted and London, there's some nice straight stretches, no speed cameras and light traffic in the early hours since there's no night flights at Stansted. Not that I've ever gone above 70mph there myself
