Congratulations, lovely fleet.

Interesting to see it next to E92. Rear bumper looks nicer for the additional fussyness, but I'm not so sure on the nose.

Still not loving any of the colour options.

Ah Skoda blue.... wink

Nice car, but I would rather the SLS,(and I hate Mercedes)!

Some nice cars there VPR. What is the M3 like when driven back to back against the old M3?

Tom.

Great question Tom,

I'd like to hear the answer if vpr would indulge us.

I haven't driven it yet

I love the E90.

Wife says the new car is better in every respect...An easier drive, power more usable...suspension more compliant with less cabin noise. Gearbox infinitely better.

She's only done 50 miles

Much nicer place to sit...looks quality but carbon and extended leather a must

Thanks for the extra photos. Really good to see it next to an E90. The rear arches are much more pronounced. Looks very good. Need to go and get a drive in one. Looks like the perfect daily driver.

Seems quite a few if these are 'for the wife' smile

Mine gets hers hopefully early October (same colour but silverstone leather)
Should be a good runaround for her.

And I have to agree with the above comment on the bonnet shut line - poor design.

Is there a reason for the bonnet leading edge shut line to be there rather than lower into the bumper like other cars? Surely that line could be right between the grilles?

A lot of the newer cars are going down this route, I think it's something to do with if it's bumped from the front it doesn't damage the bonnet and as such cheaper to repair. This then allows the car to be classed in a cheaper bracket insurance wise.

Probably just cheaper to make.

Should've made it like the E9x's - much more cohesive design.

Isn't it something to do with pedestrian impact? Eg if you run over a child / midget they have some softer plastic to hit, rather than metal?

EU bullst.
