Really? £799 a month on a near as damn it 100K car, is not cheap?

£33000 dealer deposit is mental. I might give BMW a call. wink
I paid £76600:00 fully specced.
Being built as we speak.
Recommend £110,000:00 + service pack and on the road.

How did you do that?

Is it lease, PCP or buying outright?

How did you get the price right down? "Give me your best price?" sort of thing or was it a struggle to get them to budge?

I'm considering going this route some time in the future.

I have bought the car cash, I played one off against the other till the price was lowest, simples.
One dealer out there will always want to make there margins , thats when they are prepared to give cars away to get big money from BMW.

Nice spec yes

Edited to add I've got 24 months left on my F10 M5 and whilst I'm a while away for having to make decision I really don't know what I'm going to replace it with, it's such a fecking great all round car scratchchin

Whilst posting does anyone know if Palmballs car is still for sale at the dealer he sold to or is this just a stale advert. Been up there for a while at that price so if it is still for sale it's overdue another reduction as £64,950 has not showing any takers.
'My' car is still for sale grumpy I did have it on SoR with a guaranteed buy price at the end of August....I've literally just paid it off and finally walked away from it. I'm sure it'll be coming down soon, which is a travesty if you ask me. It's had some interest, but nobody serious it seems.

Oh well, it's certainly the last time I ever buy a brand new M6 (although my penchant for spec doesn't help) - I have bought a few similarly pricey cars yet, even with crazy up front discounts and zero APR, the level of depreciation was like nothing else. I knew it would be bad, but this was horrendous in the extreme!

At least I now have a chance that my SLS could be one of the cheapest cars I own smile

Is it currently listed anywhere? I may be interested, although it'd need to be cheaper than a brand new one on Broadspeed with a similar spec. Sounds obvious but many used ones are pie-in-the-sky pricing.

You must go M6 GC CP IMO, if you can buy one @ M5 money it's a great deal.
They really do go, ask Palmball.

Yes, it's on PH and oscarjacobs.co.uk - and yes, of course it cheaper than a new one with equivalent spec! Spec'd to £120k, even with say £35k discount with Broadpseed you're looking at £85k new.

It's advertised low-mid £60k's.....sure, one can probably buy a brand new example for similar money but with no options, whereas but my old car has (amongst other items) competition pack, full individual leather, ceramic brakes and B&O audio. For the price, theres no other M6's that come's close to it for the spec....and it still wouldn't sell.

ETA - it also has the M Drivers pack, with the official certification from BMW. There'll be no other M6 in the UK with this factory option.

Not quite sure why I'm saying all this as it's not mine to sell anymore....must still be a touch attached to it!

I drove one before ordering and it was much better handing wise, and seemed to tackle corners way better, power wise not to sure, will let you know in a few weeks.
15 BHP does not seem a lot, but the torque curve is better. biggrin
Along with the centre of gravity being much lower.

If anyone is seriously looking for an M6, this would be my choice, If I did not have one on order I would by it.

Forgive me for not knowing the full detail of the M Drivers Pack, is it simply a speed limit de-restriction? I know you had the 155 mph restriction removed is this what it is?

On that point does the fact this car has done in excess of 180 mph (on the autobahn) have any UK warranty implications do you, or anyone, know?

Thanks

It has NO implications on driving to those speeds, thats what the "Drivers Pack" is for.
BMW germany did the alterations and certified them, warrantee unaffected.

It is a stunning example but I think the issue is that the spec is a hard sell for a lot of people (not that selling a used M6 is an easy feat anyway!). I'm in the market but I don't need a lot of the options.

In all honesty I'd order a brand new factory one for similar money without ceramics/B&O etc but I'm sure someone will bite as it's pretty special.

Yes, it's just the speed limit removal (well, increase to 190mph to be precise), plus a 2-day European BMW track day (which I'm keeping for myself as the M-Drivers pack was not cheap).

No impact on warranty as it's a BMW product, fitted by BMW. It's just that BMW UK won't/can't offer it, I assume because they don't have a UK based trackday operation to provide as part of the option pack. I paid a lot more money than any aftermarket speed limit removal (which I'm not even sure is possible?) for this, solely to ensure the warranty remained in tact. Theres a sticker under the bonnet to advise that the option is fitted (my dealer commented it was the first they'd seen) and BMW supply a CD/DVD disc for the dealer to use whenever they updates the software so as not to lose the M Drivers pack.
