I've not been able to get down to Broadspeed level discounts, but I've got close (£28k knocked off before extras). It got to the point where they just started dropping my p/x value.

I'm still umming and arring which I know dealers hate but it might mean a better deal. If anyone knows of a dealer in the SE that will do a deal on an M6 Coupe with £34k off please let me know! That's almost an extra 10% off.

I've never taken this long to buy a car, but it feels good taking your time and keeping the E92 for a little longer is no mean prospect.
Try BMW Specialist cars LUTON.

Personally I wouldn't touch Specialist Cars!! I've bought as many as 8 M products through them in the past only to get stiffed by them on my M5!!! Would NEVER use them again as there service department is also total S***T!

They left the bung plug out on my M5's rear diff, got home in it and left massive oil marks on my drive. Rang to complain only to be told to drive it back and they would have a look as its something clearly not done by them!! (even though I paid for it to be changed!!)
I said they can send a trailer out to collect it as I didn't want to blow the diff only to be told not a chance unless I pay, made me call BMW emergency who towed it in. When in the workshop they found the bung and re fitted it and made out as they did me a favor with no apology!! Total clowns!!!

Out of interest I asked them about an M6 and they came back with 8K discount as if they were doing me a favor as I was a valid customer!!

Ended up using my new dealer who gave just over 32k of the car without really pushing them, they had the attitude of this is supported by BMW so we don't loose out and we are happy to pass the saving onto our customers!!

Rung them today but waiting to speak to the 'specialist'. I don't mind if they're sh*t for aftercare, I won't use them for that stuff but use my local (who are also the equally sh*t Coopers)

Well there's bigger discounts available than on Broadspeed. I've used autoebid in the past, was a good experience, so wouldn't rule out Broadspeed if it was the cheapest

Given that a brand new M6 convertible can be bought for under £70k, I don't see why the BMW approved listings have used cars up for more than this with pretty average spec.

Do they do it as a tactic so make the brand new ones look more attractive & to sell more?

This was discussed a few pages back. Think it's a mix of ignorance i.e. a few people might be unaware they are that cheap or do impulsive buys, and that BMW want a 'halo' car to show off in their showrooms and aren't that bothered about selling them.

I believe the discount on the M6 GC is more than the coupe this what I was told when I placed my order. In my opinion Specialist are led from the top with a st attitude of we can do what we want and people will still buy from us!! I have many friends who would never use them again and I would'nt trust them to check my tyre pressures total clowns!!

I have used Specialist Cars for many years to service various cars I have had over the years and not had any issue's, my F10 M5 was serviced their recently with no problems yet. I must admit I do prefer Elms Cambridge for my 'M' cars but some times its not convenient.

But I brought my last car from them in 2005, since then despite trying, I have brought several BMW's and Mini's and they have never come up with the right deal so have taken my business elsewhere.

To be fair that could easily apply to any BMW dealer I've ever been in... I thought it was just me?

There are a handful of Used examples on the market that are reasonably well priced: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-M6-Coupe-Stunning-M6...

I think that car loves the point, it's a 2013 car up for £60k. List is £94k, less £34 discount is ... £60k.

true, but it's actually lower than most if not all used M6s of a similar age that I've seen. It has about £9.5k of extras (full black leather, larger wheels), no delivery lead time and they've paid for the £400 running in service for you.

I suspect the selling price will be around £55-56k, which I think would be reasonable. Out of interest what would you pay for it given that you could buy a new one now for £69.5k with the same options?

Also, does anyone know if you can spec cloth seats for the M6? I've seen talk on US forums that you can for the M3/M4 but there's nothing on the BMW UK Configurator for that car either.

There are cars in the dealer network listed at about £57k (so room for discount, down to what, a little over £52-53K?), 10k miles, reasonable spec (343M wheels, full leather, soft close doors) which will come with full AUC warranty.

That's almost 2 years old though, compared to the other one I linked to which is 1 year old hence the higher price. On balance I think the 2013 SO one is still quite a reasonable bargain if they are willing to take a bit below.

Looks like the 0% finance retail offer is back on the M6, although it looks like the overall dealer/ manufacturer deposit contribution is lower this time round?

Has anyone had any indication as to whether 0% might make a return on the M5 in Q4 2014?
