Anyone else's seat not wearing so good, mine is silverstone but colours aside, I have alot of wear to the side bolster and seat base side.

Ive only done 7000 miles and its not the best, not cracking but actually leather colour wearing away.

I'm at 48,000 miles on Silverstone and no signs of excessive wear. Side bolsters are holding their shape well to. Most of the time I'm in a suit (shirt / formal trousers) so maybe that's helped with no zips / buckles / studs etc?

Mine goes in 2 weeks but covered 11500 miles on silverstone, no problems at all.

Do company directors wear seats more then?

I am a quite well built company director at 16 plus stone and 6 ft 4. I reckon all you lot are short arses, it must be me dropping from the skies that the leather dislikes...

Might try a warranty attempt though .

Goodnight powerfully built not so tall m5 company directors.....

39,000 and no problems - Silverstone.

Not quite as powerfully built as some but the Gallactic Emperor still says I need to lose weight.

18k and no wear and tear.

I am not a company director. I am an aspiring powerfully built company director.

Company director here, use mine daily and wear tradesman trousers daily. After 9k look like new (sakhir orange)

I'm 6 foot tall and 13 stone if that helps

I had my front seats replaced in my X6 for this very reason, no quibbling from listers, just fitted new seats.

Lots of Bmw-specific leather dye on ebay. Very easy to apply. Just bought some Dakota for my E92 & seems to work well.
