i took mine out with mondial about 16 months ago , highest cover with £250 excess

when the mileage was about 75k.

don't know if you know this but if you pay monthly the price stays the same as when you started it never goes up. or so i was told

Tis true but whenever I've tried to obtain a quote from Mondial on a car with more than 60k, the monthly figure triples.

Well done though as it sounds like you're one of the few with such a small monthly fee with mileage higher than 60k.

Yeah thats a great figure mate fair play, wasnt the same for me a few months ago unfortunately. Mine had to be below 60k or i wouldnt have brought the car because of my monthlys (same as you with 250 excess) would have been sky high

Another reason as youve already said above. Mines now 90 a month untill i hit 100k miles. Im happy with that!

It's with a heavy heart that i've plucked up the courage to sell mine (the one at the start of the thread). It's now been cleaned and looks great but it's just not getting used and other than the Europe trip the miles have dwindled. Keep your eyes pealed, it will be going into the classifieds later this week.

I'll miss it, i really don't think there is a better one other there condition wise, spec wise and provenance wise with the paperwork it has. Took me a long time to find it and i know if i sell it and then want to go back i'll never find one like this.

The car was listed at Vines although it appears to have been removed from the BMW website.
Are you saying it's high, even at £25k or at £28k?

Thanks for the price list.
IF you get 2 years warrantee @ 25K buy it IMO.

Gave that one a miss to be honest, mainly due to the price tag being a little too high for our budget but it looks like I might be jumping into a Sapphire black touring soon enough!!!! yesdriving

I'm pretty confident I've found a good 'un as the current owner is very genuine and clearly an enthusiast. He's a member on here as well.
The car is in fine fettle and clearly been looked after by all its owners.
Disks are nearly new and it's just about to have 2 new Michelin's fitted to the front and the rears are fairly new as well.

I'll also be taking a walk on the wild side without a warranty.

Hopefully pick it up next week so who wants a C5 RS6 Plus then?? wink

Nope as his is Silverstone not black.
His looks pretty sorted though and if I fancied a car with a silver exterior and black interior I would have been in contact.

That obviously goes without saying.

It's a shame you don't live slightly further north, closer to Marlborough, otherwise we could have met on my way back. (Chippenham to Bromley).
