Jim, I think your search engine must be up the spout as they're are images all over the web....
Probably censored by mother BMW so we don't complain about what we missed out on. Such a shame they didn't offer you guys the touring. It's the perfect all rounder.
Just done a round trip to Cognac with the family for a 2 week holiday.
Car ran beautifully, albeit performance marginally blunted by 4 up and loaded to the roof with stuff.
Averaged 24mpg on the motorway and 19 for the whole trip including spirited trips to the shops through the French countryside.
Brilliant piece of kit.
Now to sort some exhaust noise.

I drove down to Loheac earlier this year and the car was simply superb. Not once was I uncomfortable.Car ran beautifully, albeit performance marginally blunted by 4 up and loaded to the roof with stuff.

I'm gutted to be selling her to be honest but as we're looking to start a family and buy our first house in the near future, I really can't justify the amount of money I'm spending on fuel.
Hopefully the car will go to a good home.

Ha, I don't mind driving it to the port if you do all the paperwork etc.
That's the problem. I don't know which is easier, getting it legal here or assembling the massive collection of parts I have now into a donor E61. I suspect the latter. The trick will be finding rear seats and door cards. Aside from that I can literally build it in any color I choose.Bought a space grey E61 M5 from them (called Blue Bell then) over 4 years ago for less than that - price seems high but perhaps the market has changed?
Their prep was underwhelming - they put new pads on discs that that were past the wear limit and they ended up having to pay my local dealer for new discs and pads - expensive cost cutting on their part.
Took a few calls to get the service book out of them and some trim issues took a few phone calls to BMW UK to resolve. Typical used car dealer - promised much and delivered little.
All resolved in the end but could have done without the aggro. So no comments on the car itself!

Ok, so i started this thread back in the day. I then sold the M5 Touring that appears in the picture on page one to longintheleg and bought a GTR. I kept that for the best part of a year, epic car but it was black and they all have really soft paint so everytime i looked at it there was a new mark on it despite only having 9k miles from new! Then, buying a new house meant it had to go to free up cash. I then stumbled upon my old E61 M5 Touring that was for sale and knowing it was a minter and had a full history i ended up buying it back. I've been running it for the last few months and it's great to be back! The power delivery at 6k rpm plus is off the scale! I love it, don't know why i sold it in the first place!!
I think they have a cult following, i really can't think of anything thats better than an M5 Touring. I had a 3 month spell in a V10 RS6 estate and it was the most boring car i've ever owned. Lots of power but very heavy and it just under steers-typical Audi i guess.
I just love it, can't think of anything i'd rather have at the moment that ticks as many boxes as this does, plus it's still exclusive-i've not seen another one for 2 years!!

Has anyone got any information on TW58 FLY ?
It's popped up near me at a main dealer at £29990.
Feel free to PM if you prefer.
All i know is it used to be local to me. Parked up next to it once in my touring. Looked mint. Was for sale not long ago too so previous owner was in for only a few months. My last post on PH was me probably saying much the same to the previous ownerIt's popped up near me at a main dealer at £29990.
