Cheapest is 28k so again I can't see it losing £900 a month at retail, but heh what do I know!

I bought a manual 08 plate new for 39k in dec 08 even those are 23-25k AUC.

I got rid of my 2011 E90 M3 DCT a year ago in fear if the value falling out of them, my fears were unfounded and i wish i kept it.

Id only have lost another 3k max from what i sold it for a year ago

The values are holding up very well

Mine too, I wanted/hoped to buy another next summer, it's not looking likely at the moment.

Should have held onto the one I had

Can't see them losing £10k in a year, unless it's a very fresh one.

Mine's on a bmw pcp with a guaranteed residual of 22k in April 2016, (10 reg car). If I still have it then I'll make a decision to hand it back or buy it depending on how the values have levelled out, but I have absolutely no worries on the values tanking as I'm protected against that. Pcp may be worth thinking about for anyone thinking of buying.

So 300-400 a month loss is more likely...

Would be good to know what people are actually paying vs sticker price. I would guess the spread between trade in values and what a dealer tries to sell the car for would be fairly high right now.
